Sweet Ob's is a great little show.

The Lounge on Sunday night on phantom is a great show.

Live Drive on Dub City Fm (it's a traffic report show) but the music on it is the best of any station at that time = 4-7pm. Also it's saved me hours of my life that i'd have otherwise spent in traffic.

Not totally relevant (but it is also available streaming. In good quality.)

And I would go insane living out here in the wilderness without KEXP

Also possibly one of the greatest radio shows (in my opinion anyway!) Donal Dineen's small hours Mon-Thurs 12-2am. Today FM are axing this in December unfortunately.

I grew up listening to Donal when the show was called "here comes the night" from 1997. I remember taping the shows every night with my shítty little casio tape recorder to listen back the next day in school to pieces I might have missed due to falling asleep! must have a root around again for some of those tapes. I still listen the odd night on my old reliable casio and catch the pod casts every other day.

He introduced me to the boards of canada among other great artists back in the day.

Donal D's shows are quality, i used to work night shift and he kept me sane. I genuinely mean that.

Not sure why but I presume it's today FM's way of pushing indie/altie music out of the way for more "crowd pleasing" music. Alison Curtis was moved from the 10-12 slot last year to the 5am slot and now I think she's gone. Paul McLoone and Dave Couse now are all that's left on that station really in terms of alternative music.

I presume they're just gonna replace Donal with an automatic music machine dealie that they have at the moment from 2am on. Cost cutting and all that. Donal will still be around with his Parish records project anyway.

You can stream BBC 6 music from the UK, and you get a great selection of new indie stuff, especially Steve Lamaq and Marc Riley. I love it and have managed to hear about some really great music and gigs..
