    Hi am planning to renovate my parents old house - needs insulation, new heating / rewiring and I also want to knock one internal wall to make a bigger living / rec room.
    I got 1 recommendation already for an architect but I cant get him to return my calls! Not a good start...

    Hello FG, I too am planning a house renov. & extension of an old house in the country. Would you mind pm'ing me with details /recom. re architects. My fiancé and I have been looking for the last few months without success due to soem being VERY expensive and also they wont even draw a box on paper or give any indication of their "vision" without giving them €2500 on a blind promise that they can give us something (I am not looking for full drawings but a doodle would help!!!).
