Chernobyl Children's Project

If the incident happened 25 years ago, then where are the children still coming from? Is the children's project educating people on the risks or raising families in that zone?

Or is it encouraging people to have children, russian-roulette-style, and dump the non-healthy ones into an orphanage for Adi Roche to deal with?

I am wondering how proactive this project actually is. I had a horrible thought that maybe the children who are saved were going on to have their own kids and sticking them in orphanages if they don't turn out right.

I'd appreciate some more information on this if anyone knows it.

You could just write to the charity and ask them. I'm sure they'd be more than happy to put your mind at risk. Anything anyone else said on here would just be speculation and give the group a bad name.

    Made me smile :)
I'd also be interested in this if anyone has any info!

I don't know what I was thinking that made me type that!! I can't even blame the iPhone auto-correcter. Mind at EASE I mean of course. Whoops.

Thanks I thought of that too and am still waiting for a reply from them. I might ask some of the other charities too as it's a kind of generic question anyway.

Doubt you'll get an answer as in the past they have viewed any questions as direct criticism and been very defensive.
