Sorry if this is in the wrong place, but just wondering if anyone else is having trouble with shockwave crashing in google chrome?
I've uninstalled Flash and Shockwave and re installed them but it's still crashing. At the moment I have it disabled in my chrome but it's just bugging me.
    Anyone else come across it?

Yeah, on any page that uses it. Am using IE for some sites and Chrome with it disabled so would love to get it sorted if anyone can help!

Hi lads, it's a simple fix. In fact it has nothing to do with shockwave. Chrome crashes because it has 2 Adobe Flash plugins enabled at one time.

I fixed it some time ago on my own PC, it was something like:

    type into address bar:
    chrome://plugins

click on "details" in the top right corner

You should have 2 Adobe Flash plugins installed, one in "program files" directory and the other one in Chrome directory (afair). Disable the one that's installed in Chrome directory.

Restart Chrome, go to Adobe website and install Flash.

    Enjoy :)
