Booking online with Irish Visa Debit - Sterling or Euro?

Hi everyone, I'm booking a 2 week holiday online with lowcostholidays for next May. I'm from Ireland but actually flying out from England so we've been checking both Irish and English sites. Lowcostholidays have both an Irish and an English site, and I'm being offered 2 different prices for the same holiday. With the exchange rate, booking through the .co.uk site would be equivalent of about €40 cheaper than the Irish price in euro that I'm being offered.

Question is, will I be charged extra for using an Irish card to book a holiday through sterling? (I'm with permanent TSB using a visa debit card)
Would I be better off just booking the higher Irish price just to avoid any extra charges to my card?

TSB website has been useless to me, thanks in advance for anyone's help :)

I can't see the site charging extra, however your card issuer may make a charge for paying in sterling. I doubt it would be more than €10, unless its an expensive holiday.

If you are using XE then you will not get the rate they show, it is usually about 2% off.

There is a site which shows visas actual exchange rate, and you can add on bank surcharged.
