Beginner Runner to Half Marathon in 12 weeks??

Just wondering if Im crazy to attempt a Half Marathon as my first race? I run occasionally & can run 5 K no problem but I really want to challenge myself & try to run a race in 12 weeks. Is a half marathon too big a challenge to set myself? I'm 22 & in good health (but not very fit right now). What is the average finish…
