Bought a watch online from the US

It was out of stock and had to wait 2 weeks for it to arrive to vendor and then shipped to me

    It arrived today...caught for customs..

    Opened it up...WRONG WATCH

    FFS

Now I gotta send it back and that;s gonna cost and most likely have to pay more duty next time.

No way am I paying duty again...

Am also looking for refund for return...jeeze..

    Am very miffed

The narrower a man’s mind, the broader his statements.

I feel your pain! That would seriously piss me off too.

Stick up a few pics of the "wrong" watch and you never know you might be able to flip it and save the cost on returning it? It's a pain in the ass when something like that happens for sure.
Maybe we could all use Marcus house in the states as a mailing address for US purchases and have them mailed on from there :p

Well wouldn't mind, but I wouldnt trust anyone I had never met to handle my expensive watches.
I have posted lots and lots of things back to the folks and never a problem, last item was a Sony mini video cam thingy that was $90 here on sale and 250Euro there, BIG difference.

I sent a Rolex watch home once and labelled it as watch for parts/repair with a declared value of $35...went through no problem.

The key to it is in the description and declered value....if you can find someone to work with you on that it will probably work out better

Sorry Marcus, thought I had stuck a smiley face on the end of that post as I meant it Tongue in cheek! I do travel to the US 4/5 times a year so if I thought I could get particularly good value I'd just be patient an bring something back with me. Nearly bought a superocean heritage in Boston last month but chickened out at the last minute!
