Want to name a trophy I got. Great ideas on here.

Want to call it "The Friendship Cup".

Was thinking I had it, then I seen Sam Maguire (first time in 16 years) and it has Chorn on name was expecting Corn.

Anybody in the golfing fluent in irish.

Getting it engraved - so no posh and becks errors , if i did it it could be the piss pot cup.

    Thanks

The reason Sam has 'chorn' is because it says 'Buan Chorn Sam Maguire', 'buan' meaning everlasting or permanent.

By that reckoning, it should be Corn Chairdeas or Buan Chorn Chairdeas?

    Thanks a million.

Anybody any second opinion . did some reading and it even said there was errors on the original Sam. Mad one.

Anyway like the sound of - everlasting friendship cup -- any others want to give it a go ?

    Corn Chairdeas - correct

    It'd be 'Corn an chairdis'.
or 'Corn an bhuan-chairdis' or 'Corn an chairdis bhuain' for 'cup of everlasting friendship'

I think it should be: "Tabhair dom an caca milis!"
