So Martin now says he never killed anyone or did anything that led to someone being killed.
He wasn't very good in the IRA was he I thought that the whole point of the members was to kill and main other people. He must have been really bad at doing this or maybe he was like the generals in the first world war sending all the poor plebs over the trenches to die

Were you expecting him to respond to that question by admitting that he killed people? and end up in jail rather than the aras

The vast majority of members never killed anyone. Keep digging.

Grizzly never even met a Republican so why is anybody surprised that Martin McGuinness never killed anybody? He is either one of the most useless terrorists ever or a very accomplished liar.

What age do you think he was in 1970? McGuinness was of the old IRA stock before the troubles. YOUNG people like him were pushed in due the circumstances.

Was he any good? (how can that word be used tastefully in this context?) Instead of comparing it to WW1 you could compare it to the the reasons why many Battalions, Brigades and Companies during the War of Independence were mute (despite alot of self serving barstool pub talking years later). People were elected not necessarily on their military ability.

It would be hard not to assume that some hits were made. Wonder what will any of his old comrades have anything to say. Will he have was Adams had in Darky Hughes?

Some people would reject the term terrorist to be equated to all Irish Republicans. Mitchell McLoughlin of SF was never a member of the IRA (but was interned, like everyone else) had they did not like each other.

We have enough MMG threads, and ones which aren't flamebait

If you feel that way inclined by all means report the claims of murder to the PSNI or Gardaí
