Sony Experia X8 - alarm

    I have this phone about 6 months. The alarm didn't go off this morning. When I (eventually) woke up I checked my emails and got a certificate error message that asked me to check the date and time. I went into settings and the date/time option to 'Use Network Provided Vaules' was unticked. I ticked this and set another test alarm which went off ok.

    I thought maybe it was something I'd unticked myself till I got into work and a colleague said her alarm didn't off either. She also has the Sony Xperia X8. I checked her settings and again the date/time option to 'Use Network Provided Vaules' was unticked.

    Anyone else have this issue?

    Both phones are on Vodafone and have Firmware version 2.1.

    ETA: The alarms on both phones were recurring alarms. They were set to go off evey weekday.
