Looking to book my Mam a weekend away for her birthday. I think she'd really enjoy Xmas Markets. Can anyone recommend a good spot for them? What dates should I be looking at, do the markets start in Dec or would some start in late November.

    Cheers Guys

look up the Travel Departments website as they have a huge range of various ones on offer at the moment, some are November dates.

    Hi,

I've been to Germany for the past two Christmas markets (Berlin & Cologne), I enjoyed Cologne the best but both were good.

have you thought about heidelberg? Have been several times myself and love it. Your mam will prob love it too if she is from my mam's generation, a really famous movie called the student prince was filmed there so my mam loved it. Its kind of "christmas card pretty"
