Is that a serious question? We watch TV / film or whatever because we're interested in the concept / idea

    and its entertaining

I find Glee entertaining. I like that the story lines with the exception of a few could actually be realistic. I also enjoy some of the songs :)

    Brittany is awesome!

Its not that easy to find many things in common to watch with my 15 year old daughter.

Glee is something that we can both watch, and some of the storylines handled in the show have opened up some very interesting conversations, as well.

(Plus, I like the show - its a bit of a guilty pleasure).

If mother/daughter shows are your thing...i HIGHLY recomend the ABC Family show called Switch At Birth :)

It's light-hearted, yet deals with real teenage issues :)
Plus, they put on great covers of songs :D

I watch Glee because I like the music (mostly), I like the comedy and I like that they can be very un-PC when they want to be. I don't like everything about it, but some episodes have been incredibly powerful in terms of telling a story.

Some people whine about the gay agenda of the show, but I can't help but think that if I'd be watching it as a teenager and seeing positive role models like Blaine and Santana* (rather than Kurt who in my view veers towards the caricature of what a gay person would have been like), I might have had a very different attitude when it came to dealing with my own sexuality.

    * and yes, I know people who despise the character's bitchiness

Just like the title says! The Songs are mind-bogglingly better than the originals! They're so fresh and youthful!:)

At this stage the singing is almost second to the agendas Ryan murphy attempts to heavy handedly deal with
But I have to say some of those xharacters are excellent role models, but they are few and far between
I mean Wil and Emma are just so insipid you feel Luke rooting for SUE as she actually does the work to get things done.
