    i looked on their website at whats on the course... and being honest 90% seems useless the only decent stuff on offer is extra that you've to pay for it appears....

    A friend of mine did it, she got her EMT out of it and whatever Fire qualification ya get..... and then she went back to her old job!

    its one thing doing an EMT course, but as regard the FIRE side of things, if its for the purpose of getting a job as a firefighter do they check you meet the required medical/fitness requirements before they take your money or do they promise that you will gain an advantage when applying for the job.

    Some of these courses are run to make people profit. If they are honest and tell you that because you have a hearing defect for instance you are not suitable and refuse to take your money then fairplay, but I have seen a couple of these courses taking money off people who really would never have a hope of becoming a firefighter and these courses were being run by exsisting Firefighters/EMTs.

    Better to join the Civil Defence
