Hey guys, I'm a kerry girl who's travelling abroad soon.

My plane coming home will be in fairly late.... I won't be back in Dub airport till about half ten at night.... There's no trains back to Kerry at this time... So, I was thinking of staying the night in Dublin city.

Can anyone suggest any budget travel inns or hotels... or at least a fairly good standard hotel that's not too heavy on the pocket?

One in the city centre and close to the luas would be great :)

    Any suggestions welcome!!!

    thank you ^__^

There's a couple of hostels either side of Store St. Garda station, which is right beside the LUAS.

You'd be sharing a room, but they have lockers, and are generally safe.

    They'd be your cheapest option.

I would contact the hotels near the airport that offer a shuttle service and then haggle on price - they all need the business!

Ripley Court on Talbot St, fifty euro a night. Breakfast is extra

The bus from the airport will drop you a few hundred metres away.
And in the morning you can get your bus to Kerry or hop on the Luas to Heuston

Try Generator Hostel/Hotel in Smithfield Square. Private rooms available. Very clean, well run, has a café & a bar.....

The ones near Store Street are generally very noisy and one of them at least is basically on the DART line. Plus you have to share AFAIK.

    Beside the LUAS line also

Premier Inn beside the airport is €39 a night and very comfy.

That place charges €60 for a private single room. That's outrageous for a hostel!

Avalon House on Aungier Street have private single ensuite rooms for €30. The 16a from the airport will drop you right on their doorstep. Couldn't be handier!
