Change Elective Modules in DCU

I'm a new student in DCU this year and I've one question regarding changing optional modules for Common Entry into Science (CES).
In the list of optional modules for CES, it mentions the following optional modules: PS122 Physics for General Sciences I (5 credits), PS123 Physics for General Sciences (5 credits), and PS128 Physics 1 (10 credits). During the 1st week of registration (online), I had chosen PS122 & PS123 with no clue of what's the difference between these two modules and PS128. But on Tuesday of orientation week the chair person for Sciences (I think Paul is his name) mentioned that PS122 & PS123 are for students who never done Physics for Leaving Cert. and maybe done Pass Maths also. While PS128 is for students who have done Physics for L.C. and have done Honours Maths. But I've done Physics (Higher Level) and done Higher Maths for L.C. So I'm thinking to change my optional modules to PS128. However, since PS122 is for semester 1 only and PS123 is for semester 2 only. The change of module dates for those are different and if I only change 1 of them, there would be an extra 5 credits, is this allowed (with extra 5 credits?) or do I must still have 60 credits after changing? If this is impossible, any advice whether I should stick with my chosen optional modules or try to change it in some way??
