    Anyone experience foot cramps?
I've found recently that after runs usually when chilling back at the house that if I stretch my foot in a certain way I get a severe cramp in my arch!
    Any tips to prevent?

Ehhhh - don't stretch your foot that way ?

Seriously, so do I; there are just some positions that I avoid for a while. A few minutes strolling around and the foot's objection to such positions seems to just go away.

A mental image of tendons and muscles pounded into one shape, then eventual returning to normal layout, at which stage cramp potential ends.

I've had this for years. Seems to happen if I position my foot in a certain way. Just have to grab and stretch it.

No idea how to prevent it, but it's AGONY!

Sometimes I'm just chilling afer a long run, I have no energy to move, let alone fight a cramp and all of a sudden, something seizes up - all of a sudden I'm on my feet trying to put weight on it or something to push it out - cursing away like a sailor. Ouch!

Its also woke me from sleep - there I am leaping out of bed, cursing and trying to sort it out.

Even typing this is reminding me of the pain. Not good.

Let me know if you find out how to prevent it!

Do any physios do massages on feet ?

After Athens last year the massage girl did my feet and its was torture, she found golf balls there but well worth the pain. I had none of these cramps in the days after the race.

Maybe it has something to do with potassium levels.
