I always thought the 'K' stood for the county that the golf club was in

obviously the deal relates to smurfit course and not ryder cup course.

Question is how does the smurfit course compare to its sister course. Is it as good?

    Is the meal for 2?

Yes . Wouldnt be very fair otherwise , though I would happily eat the meal while my playing partner waited outside !!!!

I used the voucher and played here before Christmas and it was enjoyable the only downfall was that the restaurant doesn't open until 5!!!! So if you guys have an early tee time ye mite have a long wait for food.

I'd advise ringing the pro shop to see if this has changed

Yeah , its 3 on the day we're playing .

I played this yesterday and I loved it. I played pretty well winning €2 in the process from my playing partner, so that helped.

But I thought it was a great track - massive amounts of water, huge bunkers, holes that would really interest you. A step up from the other courses I've played in my view - from the top 100 lists Tullamore, Tramore, New Forest and Castleknock are the only ones I've played, so I'm not comparing it to the very top courses here.

I have to say Headfort, just outside Kells is the nicest course i've ever played. Very reasonable too. I played for E20 midweek.
