I've just put approx 100l of diesel into a kerosene tank which about 250l in it.:o

What are the potential problems, will it even work!?

I have Sime boiler manufactured in '02

I also have access to 800l of the diesel

    What should I do?

    All help very welcome
    Thanks

You should be ok with the mix, set up for kero and diesel are different. Diesel would be more waxy and needs a higher pressure and a nozzle change. Riello normally state kero only but diesel was used on older models and on the continent diesel would be the preferred fuel. See how you get on but if you used diesel only if may not work in colder weather.

diesel, because it is more oily,is inclined to soot up a burner, but if it is well diluted with kerosene it should be ok. it may be feasible to change the burner nozzle to improve burn rate
