New Battery needed.

    So I have been getting away without having a battery for my laptop for some time now. Basically now its a mobile desktop, constantly plugged in. Battery has been long since removed.

    But now, may need to get a new battery for it as may need it as an actual laptop away from a mains source, although slightly confused on the type I need. HP does not recognise the product code for mine on its search engine.

    Looked it up on amazon, and there are 6 cell and 12 batteries that have my product code listed under them, any way of finding out which one mine is.

    Also, the 12 cell battery is around the €100 mark on HP, and alot less for a HP one on Amazon. Should that concern me.

    Pavilion DV6000. But this is also listed under the 6 and 12 cell batteries on Amazon.
