Taxi from DCU to city center?

    Does anyone have a rough estimate of how much a taxi will cost from the dcu to the city center after the ball tonight and a number for a good taxi number thanks

    According to www.worldtaximeter.com It would be 14 euro.

    Sure just google dublin city taxi's and you will get a list of them

    €14/€15 would be a good estimate alright. I always use Express Taxis which are good (01 855 3333) but if you just walk out to the Ballymun Road you'll probably be able to flag one down and it could be cheaper if you aren't calling one out.

    right i was so pissed sunday night that i stupidly paid the full fair it is €19 from the Q bar which is just centre, and it is roughly 15 from DCU itself

    Thanks for the replys there were loads of taxis waiting so we had no problem getting one.

    If that was for one person, you got absolutely ripped off. I'd never pay more than 12 quid from town to DCU. And it normally only costs a tenner.
