playstation network is currently down. No ETU.

can't sign into playstation network.. keep getting a timed out message when trying to sign in..

Is anybody else having this trouble ??

i have been using it no probs.. got the latest psn update 3.72 installed this evening.

does anyone know how to get Qore by the way ? I have been looking for it (i'm a plus subscriber) but haven't found the download anywhere.

The maintenance occuring is the same as a normal maintenance, so those signed in will remain online for duration

PSN seems to be very unreliable. You never hear about this happening to the xbox

Qore is on the US PSN.
You can get whether you are PS+ or not.
I don't think it's free or reduced for PS+ members, normal price for all.

How do microsoft do maintenance on xbox live? Ive never been unable to log on and have a few games on 360 whereas Sony seem to have to do alot of maintenance for PSN

Don't bother, he'll just come back about how it's part of the console that some people paid €630 for.

I pay nothing for PSN and i get something, in no way is that getting what you paid for.

That is correct. You pay for the console and games.
You do not PAY ANYTHING to play ONLINE on the PS3.

Wasting your time with this some people like to turn things into hollywood productions. Can people not just play an off line game for a few hours, or go out and talk to people without a headset. Its not a big deal.

Whilst I completely understand the need for downtime on the PSN (rarely use it) it is untrue imo to say you aren't paying for it when you buy the console and games.

It is advertised as one of the features.

Of course you pay for it along the line and it is a part of the whole playstation experiance. The point is it goes down and people are on here saying their selling their ps3's come on there are loads of games to play. If online is that important get a pc or pay for live. Its just all ott.
