Going to a gig in vicar street with herself on saturday night, where would be a good place to get a nice dinner and watch the Utd-Stoke game near enough to to Vicar St?

I watched a MUFC game before in the Woolshed Baa and grill on Parnell street and they do food aswell. But its about 15mins from Vicar Street, might be too far for you. I'm not a Dublin native but it might get the ball rolling for a better suggestion.

Try http://www.sports-in-bars.ie/index.php to show where the game is on.
