Any idea where i could pick one up? It is for a 00 Primera, i am not keeping it for long so i dont want to buy a new battery, but the other is already giving me hassle with the colder mornings. I have already tried Summerhill spares in Coolock, they are only selling new ones for €80.

    Are things that bad?

Just buy a new battery and then take it out when you get rid of the car if your notm keeping it long.

You should try a breakers for a second hand battery...but really you should get a new one especially coming into the winter cause off the cold weather.

Make sure the levels in the battery are good. If its not holding a good charge topping it up with DI water and charging it with a trickle charger will do wonders for it there shouldn't be a huge need to replace the battery.

In my experience you would be really lucky to get away with that.
New battery only job. Try ringing around the motor factors to see if you could get a better price.

I got a battery for my wife's corolla on adverts.ie on a Sunday complete with receipt showing battery 3 weeks old for 30 euro. Well worth a try.
