Folks, does anyone know what file system an External Hard Drive needs to be for a Mac? I have tried to format it (on an XP machine) with FAT32 but its saying that "The volume is too big for FAT32" (its 2TB)

    Anyone have any ideas?

You can format it in OS X with Disk Utility choosing MS-DOS (FAT) as the file system if you want to use it with Windows and OS X.
