    This is soooo simple! However I just can't figure out how to do it. I am a complete Noob to this, gone through all the tut's I can find and still can't get an answer : All I want to do is the most basic addition for a basic maths tutorial . So I want to do 10 + 2 = . But I want to do this with the "+2" under the 10 and the answer left blank. I found some code for a more complex version of this but got in a knot trying to reduce it down to just the simple one I want.
    Any help would be great.
    Thanks.

    Try this:
    \frac{
        \begin{array}{r}
            10\\
            +2
        \end{array}
    }{}

    That worked! Thanks for that.
