    Ok so I failed one exam in first year and have been advised to resit the exam next May which is actually ridiculous cos it means I will be out of college for well over a year, with no job or no dole, nothing!
    I was just wondering if I do repeat my exam next May and pass and get into my second year in college will I still get my grant for same course only I will be continuing the course in September 2012 rather than September 2011..

    I go to DKIT and you need 55 credits out of 60 to go into second year, the subject I failed was worth 7.5 and they wont let me into second year which I think is stupid.

    Ya, your grant should resume in 2012, in second year.
