Unusual daily drivers

Most of the time the roads seem to be full of silver or black German cars so anything unusual stands out and is a welcome change. Im sure theres plenty of examples but theres a few ive seen regularly around Dublin so they seem to be everyday transport. Fair play to them for doing their own thing and ignoring mundane issues such as reliability or fuel economy :D

Theres a black 60's Mustang thats often used as a work commuter in the south inner city. A few days ago i seen an elderly woman driving a 70's Porsche 911. It has an original Irish reg so id guess she's owned it for years. Twice lately i seen a late 1980's VW Transporter pickup. It sits high so it might be a syncro and from the noise it makes theres probably more than a 1.6D in the boot

I've often seen an older lady driving a gold early 80s merc 200 (w123 series).

Local farmer has a 83 merc 300d in very tidy condition that i often see him driving at various time of day.

Another old couple relatively near me have a renault 11.

I spot a series 3 landrover SWB painted in black and green "camo" pattern, but not army pattern, looks more like someone was painting an impression of a black and green bullock but it still looks cool, that's often out and about.

Don't know if he still does, but there was/is an old man i know driving a 70s rolls royce as a daily runaround, which I think is quite fantastic. He arrives complete with cap, gloves, tweed sports jacket and pipe.

Another very fancy one, and a bit of a cheat as it's probably not really a daily, but doing an everyday chore that day anyway, a Ferrari mondial 3.2 pulled up next to me in athlone in a petrol station/mcdonalds carpark one day and a very well presented old gentleman got out, locked it and strolled into the shop across the forecourt to pick up a few things. Talk about arriving in style to pick up the milk and morning paper
