ok just got an International 955 tractor and clutch was not working as wouldn’t go into gear
The tractor was split and found that 2 of the finger tips ends are wore/broke off….some say the release bearing causes this when it seizes but its spinning round ok
the clutch disc has about 15% per cent remaining..

I was thinking of getting a good welder to fix up the fingertips ends
(some people say it wont work and bad job while others say its fine for an old tractor)
for me and get the clutch relined as they very expensive new and cant get a good second hand one..

    What you think guys

    Thanks

    Its worth a try,
If ye are splitting it yourselves its only time and a few quid for the welding you lose. .It should do no harm to the clutch disc if the levers break again.
I would definately replace the release bearing. We always do regardless when doing clutches.

If you need the tractor to be 100% reliable get a 2nd hand clutch assembly by advertising in donedeal
