Light front damage??

Is this what constitutes light front damage??

    http://cars.donedeal.ie/for-sale/cars/2536368

I've noticed a few cars for sale with the description Cat D and they mention light front damage. But they have been repaired. So its hard to know what they looked like before repair.

The link above shows a car that claims to have light front damage. Is this what someone would genuinely call light damage. I certainly wouldn't call it that.

Check insurance history. Looks like Westmeath reg. being sold in Monaghan. May be ex-hire being sold on again!

In fairness it looks worse than it is I think. Its just panel damage imho, but Im sure the experts like Paintdoctor would know more as to the extent of.

it dosent look as bad as some of the "light damage" i have seen, but it only has 200km`s on the clock:eek:,

Would a hire car have a tow bar fitted ?

Nearside chassis leg looks like it has shifted.

'light frontal' to me would say bumpers and lights, but that Golf has more gone wrong with it. Probably not difficult to fix in the whole scheme of things. Thankfully the airbags are not blown, that would have multiplied things somewhat.

Thats a afternoons fit up at most, all bolt on front panels provided the chassis legs arent bollixed its a straight foreward repair.
