    2x01 Ha'i'ole (Unbreakable)

Pretty good opening episode. Five 0 is now reinstated but Kono is still suspended until the investigation on her is completed.

Terry Quinn is a great addition to the show. He has the whole father/mentor vibe going on and hopefully will be around for a while.

Looks like they pressed the reset button on Danny and Rachel which seemed a bit lazy to me.

Great to see Masi Oka (who plays Max Bergman) is going to be a regular cast member. I think he ads a great dynamic to the show.

But the biggest shocker was at the end when WoFat came back to the car and we discovered that it looks like Jenna is working for him!!

Thought it was a good enough episode. Felt the whole situation with Steve in prison got resolved too quickly, was expecting it to drag on for a few more episodes.

Great twist at the end, I never saw that coming. It will be interesting to see how they explain her working for Wo Fat, seeing as she seemed so intent on bringing him down. Hopefully it is a good explanation.

Delighted to see it back. I really enjoyed the episode and was glad they got Five 0 back together so now can get busy busting bad guys balls.

Great twist at the end, never ever saw that coming.

i didnt see the twist with jenna coming, but i wasnt really shocked either, instead of dragging out steve in prision (which could have been a nice bit of fun:D) they may have taken the even more dragged out double agent route (which lets be fair wont be as much fun),

surely kono deserves some recognition for killing a guy with dirty bomb equipment, hard not to see a reason shes not reinstated fairly soon,

a good start to the season, WoFat still on the run, and the video showing up some juicy info abouut steves dad, im trying to think was there a body at the funeral??

The thought entered my mind last season and forgot about it altogether...but yeah it's looking like the father will appear to be alive and kicking.

I hope Rachel is gone for good not a fan of hers tbh

The twist in the last scene was quite something did not expect that.

I really missed this show. Thought that everything got resolved a bit too fast, but I guess this is Hawaii 5-0. Would love to see Terry Quinn become a regular cast member. Did not see that ending coming, I hope that she is actually dirty, I hate how on these shows you just know its going to turn out this was part of her investigation!

Don't think anyone saw the end coming!

When McGarett woke up in the ambulance and then jumped out, that was so badass!

He is staying around for more episodes

Was disappointed with the reason behind the twist involving Jenna. Another average episode, not sure about the addition of Lori, you can see exactly where the storyline with her and Steve is going. The scene with the horses was so random. The storyline with Kono should be good going forward, be interesting to see how that develops.

An ok episode this week. Interesting to see the direction they are going with Kono. The skydiving scene was even more ridiculous than the horse riding last week.

An ok episode but nothing special that pushed way to hard about how bad ass Navy Seals are. The Kono arc feels very predictable to me and I see her really working for the IAA people to help take down the ex-cops crew.

That has to have been some of the most blatant product placement ever, some times it can be funny to spot it from time to time, you can even put up with the whole "bing it", but ffs, that was just a Subway ad

Product placement in this show is just so in your face its a joke. When the subway ad scene opened I was rollimg my eyes about the big stach of subway rolls all with there wrappers perfectly facing the camera, but the the cast spend another two minutes talking about subway and how healthy is is

it's not just 5-0 doing this. There is a big running ad on Chuck too for Subway. 5-0 is that kind of show though and they kind of do it reasonably well. I think a lot of this is going to creep into US programming from now on.

I put it on again tonight to give it one last chance but no, it's just a pile of crap. Why on earth bother calling it Hawaii Five O given that it bears absolutely no resemblance to the original series - apart from the location? It's just yet another formula produced US crime series - if you flicked it on in the middle you would be hard pushed to tell whether you were watching CSI or some other sludge. Crap acting, crap plots and not a shred of realism. I'm outta here...:D

Ah Five-O is trashy TV. It's stuff you can throw on to fill 45 minutes and half ignore. That's the way I look at it. It's well down my watch list but I love the cinematography but otherwise it's very average.

Agreed, it helps if you went to Hawaii on your honeymoon and like being reminded of the place.

It really is "chewing gum" TV, it brings you through all the plot points, you don't have to keep an eye out for something in the back ground, saying that, all the ads for subway & Bing really annoys me.

Are you trying to imply Microsoft don't make windows branded monitors?

This show is laughable, it's the new CSI Miami but that's what I like about it.

i accept it for what it is, entertainment, im not gonna go out and buy a chevy, or a 6 foot touch screen table, although the biggest thing i hate about 5-0 is the Bing advertising its a pile of **** TBH,

Ah ffs, just watching Real Steel and there's a fight taking place in The Bing Arena, I feel violated (as I enter this into Chrome :p)

The most bizarre product placement moment of watching any TV show was the ep containing the Subway scene. I honestly couldn't believe it was so in your face.

Almost as bad as the 90210 Dr. Pepper "advert" in season 1

I just googled the Dr. Pepper one and it sounds awful. Couldn't find a YouTube link for it, but your thread created to complain about it was on the second page restults :p

With H50 I don't mind the odd now and again showing the screen of the phone or whatever...but...actually as typing this it's reminded me of the time they were talking about how good a certain phone was

Well I guess shows have to earn advertising bucks but I wish they were more subtle or classy about it rather than the punch in the face sometimes.

And it doesn't work. I haven't gone to subway or bought a bloody windows mobile. But, does the fact I'm mentioning it now mean it has worked?

To be somewhat fair, windows phones seem ideally suited to TV work as everything so big and simple on them. You don't need fake screens to understand what's happening.

Season 2 finale date set for May 14th...

The teaser for the episode is:
Five-O goes on a manhunt when one of their own is killed in the line of duty
Can't see it been one of the 4 main cast, so maybe it will be Terry O Quinn or Laurent German's character? Or if it's Max would be surprising also

Not a bad little episode this week, although the whole thing with the shrimp truck was a bit annoying.
