Is there a good way of learning some of the more technical side of Macs? Despite having had them for around 4 years now I know little about some of the more nitty gritty aspects of Macs/OSX. I'm much more used to troubled shooting on Windows, generally futtering around whilst not knowing everything, but knowing enough to get back to basics if I screw something up. I'd feel quite wary of doing this on a Mac. So, any good sites for general maintenance or learning the more behind the scenes side of the OS?

    Thanks.

This will get you started: http://www.macattorney.com/ts.html
The guy is good and knows about Macs.

BTW if you haven't downloaded and installed the free "Applejack", do that now.
Also buy a copy of Disk Warrior. I've needed it only a couple of times but, on those occasions, I was glad I already had it!

Welcome to the forum. Unfortunately, this may be your last post because I suspect that discussion of file piracy may be in breach of forum rules.
