Just wondering if anyone here can help.

I have an email filter appliance that I needed to replace, and I could only access the archived email by batch forwarding them to another address.

Unfortunatley this sends each of the emails on the device as an one attachment in a separate 'container' email. So if I had 5000 emails on the device, it forwards 5000 emails each containing the original email as an attachment.

I have created an Outlook folder and if I drag the attachment from the forwarded email into it, it works fine; the original email appears in the folder with the original sender, recipient and date etc., but there are several thousand. I spent a couple of hours doing this manually today and only got 140 of them done, so I'm looking for a way to automate this.

Does anyone know how you would do this in VBA for Outlook. I'm sure it can be done, but I can't find a relevant example by googling?
