After reading my way through this forum my head is now spinning with info! Im starting from scratch in a house ive just refurbished im looking to set myself up with a tv and now i dont know where to start! Im in north Louth an i can see both Warrenpoint (1 Mile away) and the clermont carn repeater is actually just behind me over looking me.
Can anyone suggest a set up for me from the aerial down that wont break the bank? Links if possible:) I assume i'll be able to get both northern and southern reception without much trouble with 2 areials, although the saorview coverage checker places me right on the line between coverage now and no coverage till swichover.
    Thanks in advance.

If it was me, I would just get my hands on a wideband aerial, such as this log periodic type (the unamplified version) & see what's available.

I don't know the area but I suppose the Rostrevor transmitter would be the one to try for UK tv (analogue only for another year) & you may not need a seperate aerial for Clermont, but you'll probably have to find that out for yourself. cool.gif
