How long do they take to deliver? Been a week today and I'm getting anxious. The DHL tracking number is fairly ambiguious Any horror stories with late deliveries ?

I have had several orders with them without issue.

Follow the DHL on the German link, it'll give you an idea of whats happening.

Longest I waited was probably 7 working days, but to be fair to HWVS, it was dispatched quite quickly.

It's getting delivered by DHL. It won't give an exact location but rather say what phase it's in. And it's been in processing in parcel center for a few days. I just want my PC

An post handle the package once it reaches Ireland. Its not going to be delivered by DHL.

DHL is germany's postal service like An Post is ours. If you have been waiting a week you should have it any day now. Pop the tracking code into the an post tracker and see.

are they supposed to email the tracking number to you or something? ive been waiting a week now myself and havent heard anything, on the order status it says 'Due to your payment the order was cleared for delivery.' and all the items are in stock, they havent replied to my email either

Hmmm. That's the step before they ship. How long has it been at that do you know?

My own took about a day from that point:

2011-9-09 at 11:09 Due to your payment the order was cleared for delivery.
2011-9-10 at 09:03 The goods are ready for collection or assembling.
2011-9-10 at 09:03 The invoice was made.
2011-9-10 at 18:02 The goods were dispatched. - 2 package(s). Identcode(s): [XXXXXX, XXXXXX]


(where the XXXXX sections are the tracking codes)

It says it can be about 8 working days form the dispatch date...
However it is only 3 days to UK!!!

It is not fair but...they have Euro tunnel..

I have a feeling this shipping method involves ground route.

I am also waiting for my new build.

I ordered last month, it dispatched from HWVE on a Wednesday, DHL had a status in the wee small hours of the Thursday morning, then nada until the following Tuesday when I could track it with An Post, and it was already out for delievery. One other thing to note - mine came in 2 boxes with separate tracking numbers from DHL, but An Post treated them as one, and therefore only one of the numbers worked.

Did some of your items go out of stock while waiting for the payment to clear?

If it helps, mine arrived in Portlaoise Depot on a Friday and was then delivered by An Post at about 4 on the Monday, so only one working day once it was tracked in Ireland really.

Also, I had two codes for DHL and they both worked with the An Post tracker too. I'm sure you'll get it soon

Dammit - my order has been stuck in Koln since Thursday night according to DHL.de
It doesnt usually take this long does it?

DHL will only track it to departure port of Germany.
It takes about +3 more days until An post will receive it and process it. After that you can track it on An post. Usually it gets dispatched after 1-2 day from arriving at Laois depot. Typically it takes 1 full week for items to get to the recipient.

Instead of making a new post I thought I'd just continue with this thread.

I am having a lot of hassle with HV, I've sent three emails and yet no reply to any of them. Here are the event stamps to date:
2013-8-29 at 23:28 Online-Order
2013-9-02 at 09:26 We received your payment amounting to X EUR .
2013-9-02 at 10:47 Due to your payment the order was cleared for delivery.

Surely it should not take this long to get the parts ready to dispatch? Has anyone experience anything similar to this or ever got a reply to an email or tried phoning them?

Phoning them is much more efficient.

I placed an order at the same time as you did, and my order status was the same as yours for a week or two.

The reason was that a couple of parts were out of stock when I ordered. They came in dribs and drabs, but one part was continually 'expected in 2/3 days' (pushed back every couple of days). That was a mousemat -- not quite the most important part!

So I called them last Friday and asked to remove the mat from the order; they shipped everything else the same day, and UPS says it's out for delivery right now.

I wouldn't worry about the length of the phone call. Mine only lasted a couple of minutes and the guy was very helpful.

One other thing: for some reason I couldn't get through to their number from a landline, but a mobile worked fine.

Yeah I got through to them today. My monitor had the same issue as your mat, always being delayed two/three days, so they offered a slightly more expensive monitor at the same price. Very helpful in the end.
