Background Hissing Noise on Sky RF2 Out

Hi there, I hope someone can give me some guidance on the following issue:

I have a 22" LED TV in my kitchen that is receiving Sky though the RF2 Output of the Amstrad Sky HD box in the sitting room. The picture is perfect but the sound has a very annoying hissing background sound, especially noticeable between add breaks.

The setup is as follows: Sky RF2 Out and Terrestrial Roof Aerial both feed into a 2 input / 6 way Distribution Amp in my attic.

The Terrestial Roof Aerial has a perfect picture and sound on the kitchen TV for both Analogue and Digital Stations. The Sky RF2 output appears to have a perfect picture on the kitchen TV but there is a constant background hissing noise.

I have tried different RF2 Out channels but all give the hissing sound.

I then tried connecting the Sky RF1 output of the Sky box directly to the kitchen TV and that too has a hissing sound.

Is this a known issue with the RF Modulators on the Amstrad Sky HD boxes?

Any help / work around would be greatly appreciated!

Try lowering/increasing the volume on the sky box in the audio menu and increase or decresae the volume on the tv . Worth a shot. Make sure the Tv is set to PAL i in the tuning menu.

Thanks but I don't think there is such an option on the HD boxes with the new EPG. Is it a hidden menu?

Afraid not, it use to be on the old EPG but it's removed on the new EPG. It's a known issue for some time that it's missing on the new EPG:
