I am looking to get a new trigger kit for my Howa .243. It's a cheap and cheerful gun but very accurate. I am upgrading it with a new scope and stock but I would really like to get a set trigger or an adjustable one as there is a very hard pull on it at the moment. Just wondering has anyone ever done it or if anyone could give me some advice etc.

    Thanks

My [SH] Howa came with a custom/aftermarket trigger.

I can tell you nothing about it except that it is brilliant. Well worth doing mate.

I think a jewell or a timney trigger kit is available for the howas. Maybe a trip to a smith can polish up your factory trigger and make it a bit more surgical.

I used a howa action for my custom .308 and i hated the orginal trigger. I got a timney fitted by a gunsmith as i was told by a few lads that adjusting the howa trigger was very tricky. The tinmey is very good.
