I see that continued resurfacing works are taking place on the N25 there just outside Killeagh and also just outside Dungarvan. I'm not sure if they will continue all the way or they are just targeting large sections of the road. Sure delays traffic anyway with a few stop-go systems in place.

Anyone know why the few hundred meters of nearly dirt track east of the bridge in Castlemartyr (opposite the national school) is been ignored, the section west of the bridge had excellent restoration work done back in 2007/8.
Sections of the N25 not one tenth as bad as the bit mentioned above have had work done on them in recent times

I pose that question twice a day whilst I'm busy offroading on it. Maybe it's the NRA's way of ensuring that driver's are awake when driving into/out of Castlemartyr.

Also is it only me who has the feeling that they're doing all of this resurfacing work in the knowledge that this road will not be modified in any other way for years to come?

I can just picture them counting the pennies from the coin jar that once was marked 'Castlemartyr/Killeagh/Dungarvan bypass'.
