Sky digital drop out

    Hi folks,

Came home from work this evening and the tv was suffering digital drop out, so re-set the box (Sky+) with no success.

I removed the input cable 2 and hey presto perfect reception.

What are the consequences of leaving this cable out. Why would this have caused digital drop out and should I get someone out to look at this?

    Cheers
    T

Put back in the second cable but make sure none of the outer wires are touching the main inner cable.

Easiest way is to unscrew the f-connector from the back of the box and twist it onto the cable then screw it back into place.

Your recording function won't work properly (you can't watch one channel and record another) with only a single cable.
