Travelling while on certified sick leave.

    Hi all,

    Quick question, didn't know where to put this so here we are....mods feel free to move if in the wrong place.

    Anyway onto my question, I'm on certified sick leave for the last 7 months due to having a serious injury leading to an operation. I work in a very physical field and therefore cannot work due to the injury and recovery.

    I was expecting to be back to work by now but the recovery process is taking longer than expected. I have a wedding that I'm best man at in France next month, I'm not expecting to be back to work in the next 2 months.

    The question....Am I allowed to travel abroad while on certified sick leave? The injury stops me working but wouldn't stop me travelling.

    Any opinions/advice greatly appreciated.
