"Service Oil"

    Hi Guys,

    My wife was driving her 00 polo yesterday and "Service Oil" came up on the service display. I checked the oil (the car had a full service just weeks ago)..the oil level was fine and everything else seemed ok. I just reset the oil service and it is gone from the display.

    Does that service notice mean anything is wrong?

    More then likely the garage just forgot to reset the service interval. Was the oil clean?

    Yes it's a 10 or 12k reminder to change the oil from when it was last reset.
