New Log - Sick of Losing! Road to Victory!

Getting a bit fed up with loosing more than winning so I have decided to start a log in order to track how I do over time.

I am going to give reasoning for each bet that I place which should remove some of the losses such as heart over head bets:rolleyes:

I will be betting mainly on horse racing but other sports too.

First Bet!
Ardglen 18:05 Ballinrobe 5-2 Paddypower
Stake 12 pts win

Reasoning

Horse has a lovely weight and has some good form.
Got a tip for him from the stable and the tips are usually there or thereabouts.

Ardlan won just about despite getting very tired near the finish. The weight just about saved the day.

Nice to start with a win anyway.

Going well at the moment and looks a race that could be picked up. Would have been a better 4-1 each way bet rather than 15-8 win bet though.

Hoping for a place here with the possibility of a win. Paddy Brennan booked for the ride.

Mart Lane - Won by 23 lengths was impressive. Returns inc stake 20

One for joules - Won well too after being shaken up. Got 14.40 Back inc stake

Cool Newport - Ran well at a decent price. Had a good chance around 2 out but ran out of steam. One for the next day.

Ardglen - Won well the last day and despite a weight rise I still expect him to win. The ground suits and he is back over his optimum distance of 2m 4furlongs.

No superstar but is at a decent prize and could run into a place.

No good. Horse with beaten with a half mile to go.

Ardglen won again Sunday but didnt go for it this time as 3 races in a week or so is one too many in my book!

Has great form and is going well in training. Its a tough race though so would be happy to be placed.

Has went well on his last start and won on soft. The ground is very soft today as it hasnt stopped raining here all morning and I live near the course. He should go on the ground and since its such as poor race I would expect him to run into a place at least.

Going well so far.

Only having very small bets unless I have some information which seems to be working well enough so far anyway. Im going to tray to stick to that strategy.

Uncle Junior finished 3rd in the end which at 10-1 is all good.
Finished very fast but I felt he was given too much to do by Ruby Walsh. Ruby has not been riding very well on horses i've backed lately. Too far off the pace to win.

I dont believe he would have beaten Muirhead anyway in the race but could have been a lot closer.

Richard Dunne Scored! So I got 6.4 or so to 1 as I had it each way.
