    Hi,
    I am thinking about going to China, but I can only go in the summertime.
    Is travel to China recommended at this time of year?Where would you recommend? there may be 2 members of travelling group in their mid 60's.
    Can you recommend any tours that we could travel with?i have been looking at Intrepid.. We definately want to do the great wall...and a few other highlights.

    I live in Beijing.

    Beijing is safe, warm (sweaty hot) and fairly tourist friendly. The great wall is just to the north of Beijing. There are about a million tours you can do from Beijing, just pick one when you get here.

    From Beijing you can get to nearly anywhere in the country by train or plane. People tend to love Xi'an, Qingdao, & Dalian. I haven't been down south yet.
