Two men drove around with a dead friend, used his cashpoint card, visited a strip club, ordered drinks on his tab and ate Mexican food in a bizarre series of events in Denver Colarado.
Robert Jeffrey Young and Mark Rubinson have been charged with abusing a corpse, identity theft and criminal impersonation and been freed on bail.

It is unclear how Jeffrey Jarrett died, but the men are not charged over his death.

The Denver Post reports that in a less amusing real-life version of the film Weekend At Bernie's, an affidavit accuses Young and Rubinson of leaving Mr Jarrett's body in the car while they drank at a bar on his tab on August 27.

Investigators allege the men stopped at a restaurant, returned Mr Jarrett's body to his home, used his card and withdrew 400 dollars at a strip club before reporting Mr Jarrett's death.
