If reliability is number one I'd look at something other than a Corsa tbh. How about a Fiesta or Yaris?

Corsa C was not a very reliable car especially that 3 cylinder 1.0 litre engine. The seller is also having a laugh asking that much for a 05 example.

Here is a Corsa D (sister car of the Fiat Grande Punto) which is 2 years younger for similar money. 4 cylinder 1.2 litre engine is alot better too:

my dad had a 03 one for nearly 7 years and now my brother has it, 75,000 miles, 1.0 3 cylinder... has definitely earned respect in this house, never gave any trouble and it was never maintained to a high standard either, although because of not getting it serviced it has caused the timing chain to rattle.... i cant fault them and would definitely recommend one. I'm not sure but i think the engine is some ways different in the face lift model with more hp or somethin?
    wouldn't turn one down!
