Heat damaged film

I had my car set on fire at the weekend while on holiday. I had some exposed film in the boot on the left hand side just below the parcel shelf. 3 rolls of 120 (2xC41 1xB&W) just in the cardboard pack and a 35mm in a canister. They all smell pretty bad of smoke but no visable signs of damage. The 35mm was in a plastic container and no signs of melting or warping. Rather than develop them myself as I'd usually do I'd rather get them developed some where in Dublin city centre. Just wondering if anyone can recommend a place where I should get it done given the circumstances or should I just process them as normal? I've dropped 120 into conns before as their price for dev only on 120 C41 is pretty good.
Lost a few other camera related bits too and I had a good canon lens in the same place. The lens elements look fine but the distance scale is a little fogged on the inside and the focus feels a little sticky at either end. Just glad I had all my other cameras and gear in the apartment with me.

Sorry to hear that Effects. I am sure you need that like a hole in the head.
    Where did it happen?

On your car insurance if you had comprehensive cover make sure you claim for damage to personal effects in the car. Normally this is anywhere from €200 to €750 depending on the policy you have.

On the equipment side of things if you have all risks on your house insurance or a separate policy the cost of repair or replacement should be covered.

ps. Make sure you argue with them on the pre-accident value. If they give you a price make sure you can get exact make , model and milage to replace.

If you are not through a broker and need any help or advice pm me or give me a call and I'll try and help you where I can.

    Derek.

Thanks for the reply. It happenned in France so a bit of a pain in the ass sorting it out and getting it home. Insurance company didn't even tell assessor that it's in France. Covered for some contents with the car policy and then some with travel insurance. Loads of loop holes though but hopefully it'll work out ok in the end.
