I'm a foreign student just into my second year of studies here and want to get a car.

Would i be able to get car insurance using my foreign license?? I've had it for 3 years with no penalties/accidents whatsoever.. any help would be appreciated !!

It depends on where the license was issued.

It's not a country we have an exchange deal with.

But it looks like you can drive for up to a year on it, as I don't think being a student makes you resident here. But I think you may get phone book quotes for insurance.
