walk into a shop on launch day, preordering online is a waste of time 99% of the timem with a game as big as MW3 nowhere will sell out of it, maybe the hardened but not the regular one, the gamestop near me is getting 2000 copies of it

Work for the distributors/know someone who works for distributers for activision in ireland if you want it really early. Copies will be on sale on ebay the week before it comes out but be prepared to pay a premium for it. Very little chance of getting it early from online retailers because most will be under strict orders not to post copies till the monday for tuesday delivery but you never know, you might get lucky and it will arrive on the monday. Someone I know ordered Black Ops from shopto.net and they had it on the monday.

I miss working in HMV, used to take stuff home the day it came in and pay for it on launch day, which with games released on friday was usually tue or wed depending on the game distributor.

Haha, imagine playing MW3 2 days before it's release

I think you will find alot more than 1 player online lol. IW should have the servers turned off till the day before release so then everyone would be on a level playing field rank wise.

I guarantee you'll go on MW3 on launch day and see people at high ranks if not even prestige level, sure remember that video of Blops that was up about a week before the game came out.

Yeah there where people prestiged on launch day of Black Ops. The 360 version leaked around 2 weeks before the real release so it would have loads more online.

I Pre-ordered Blackops from Play and got it about ten days after release date. Like others said just walk into a shop and buy it on release date.

the risk of getting it late far outweighs the chance of getting it early for me, if you live anywhere near a large town you'll have tesco, hmv, gamestop, game, xtravision and other places all selling games, its near impossible to not find a big release on launch day unless its some limited edition version.
