Are there any websites or travel agents that specialize in last minute (cheap!) booking?

Example: Lets say today is thursday and I decide I want to go for a 3 or 4 day city break somewhere in europe and I want to fly out Saturday morning. But, I dont want to suffer the serious expense.

My job at the moment is chaotic and Im often being told on short notice, "sorry no more work for another 6 days". Id like to be able to go on a small holiday with these periods and to be honest id go anywhere in europe so long as the price is right.
