Moving onto campus

    Hey all,

I'll be moving into a room on campus tomorrow, and I'm trying to figure out if my dad can get a car onto campus while I move stuff out of it, or if I have to try and transport everything I own from whatever parking spot he gets in the city centre by hand.

    Can anyone advise on this?

    Thanks.

You can drive in. Just tell the guy at Lincoln Gate what you're doing. My mum parked in Front Square loads of times (at least twice) last year... right in front of the house, for that matter. It would be a bit cruel to expect you to carry stuff all the way onto campus.

Don't mean to hijack your thread, but have you received an emailing explaining the process of moving in, where to check in, get your key etc. I`m moving in on the 21st yet the accommodation office haven't sent me any information since I paid the 1st instalment.

I'm not sure if they give any information... I can't remember getting any. You just go to the accommodation office (house 10? maybe? beside the chapel anyway) and get your key, then move your stuff in.

    What he/she said. :)

Again, sorry for hijacking, but does anyone know the craic with moving in to Goldsmith? I can't see any information about a set-down place for cars and I don't imagine you can keep your blinkers on for long on that busy road. Is it just a mad dash?

(Jegger, I expected they'd be in touch with details about stuff like that, but apparently not!)

For Goldsmith last year, we drove through Lincoln Gate and up to outside the gym. Just explain to the guy at the gate and it should be fine

So what do I need to bring to Goldsmith?
