An awful lot of interest I'd imagine. I for one would be all over you!

It would probably barely match inflation and it would be subject to DIRT.

You should invest it. .... In PROPERTY!

About 7283 per week, assuming compounded weekly at 4%.

785 euro if it was a million.

If you could manage to get 3% per annum with the interest compounded monthly, you would receive 282,396 euro in interest per year. However, because inflation is constantly diminishing the value of the lump sum, it's not the case that you can just spend 282,396 every year and not lose the value of your money. You could probably spend 50 grand of it without eating into the real value of your principal too much.

If you won over 9 million every single week I doubt you'd need to be worrying about interest

with that amount of money you probably wouldn't invest it in an ordinary account. You would probably use an asset manager and your interest would depend on your risk to return ratio. Basically you can earn more interest if you want to increase your risk. Some of that though would be in risk free accounts, gold etc.

If you went to an ordinary bank you would be able negotiate a better rate because you would be depositing so much. That is what a load of big companies do with millions in their account as it would be a big blow to the bank if they withdrew their accounts.
